The Eastern Newt in its juvenile red eft form! This is one of my favorite designs to date. These little guys can be found throughout eastern North America in lush forests near water. They are amphibious, and spend their larval and adult stages in lakes and streams, however, during their juvenile eft stage, they are land-dwelling and sport a bright reddish orange color. This bright coloration signals to predators that they are toxic and NOT a tasty treat. If a predator does try for a snack, these newts can not only regrow limbs, but are also masters of organ and tissue regeneration!
 
There are two variations of this full three-color print: one on a periwinkle blue sweatshirt and one on a light green sweatshirt with red-orange, black, and white ink. The crewneck sweatshirts are a heavy weight cotton/poly blend by Comfort Colors, which I chose because they are sturdy, soft, pre-shrunk, and some of my favorite on the market.
 
This is a limitted edition design that I may only print once depending on interest, so the current stock is all that will be available for now! Scoop yours while you can!
